It's been an interesting week for charity:water. First of all, they've raised nearly $330,000 and we're only a third of the way through the month. That's truly awesome.
Second, they started drilling wells in the Central African Republic. Unfortunately, the first one didn't take as founder Scott Harrison shows in this video:
Undeterred, and with public resolve to return again shortly, Scott and the team moved on to the second well which went much better:
And, just a few minutes ago, they released the final video of the showing the Bayaka people in Jerusalem gathering clean drinking water in their village for the first time. Awesome!
As a September baby, I gave up my birthday this year for charity:water. We're almost 1/4th of the way to my goal of raising $1000 but I still need your help to get there. Check it out at mycharitywater.org/geoffwood
Any amount of donation is appreciated. $10 provides clean drinking water to 1 person for 10 years. Can you believe it?
